Our Story
MD General Home is a home remodeling company in Jacksonville, Florida founded by Danny Sanchez and Magniel Gomez. The company began through friendship, hard work, and a shared commitment to quality.
Danny and Magniel met while working as helpers for different construction and remodeling companies, learning hands-on skills in flooring, tile installation, and interior remodeling.
Their first major opportunity to work together came on a large commercial project in South Beach, Miami, where they helped install carpet tile in a five-star hotel for about three months across rooms and hallways.
That experience showed how well they worked as a team, and they decided to continue building projects together. Over time, they formed MD General Home to provide remodeling, tile installation, and flooring services in Jacksonville and nearby areas.
From the beginning, their skills complemented each other: Danny focused on tile installation for bathrooms, showers, and ceramic or porcelain floors, while Magniel specialized in laminate, vinyl, LVP, and carpet flooring installation.
As the company grew, both expanded their capabilities into cabinet installation, drywall, interior painting, and basic plumbing and electrical adjustments when projects require it.
Today, MD General Home continues growing as a family-oriented company where teamwork, honesty, and quality are the foundation of every project.
